Trainee Estimator
Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.
We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require an additional Trainee Estimator to join our passionate, dynamic team in Wisbech.
We have a strong track record of nurturing and mentoring motivated individuals and this is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are happy to offer training and further development for candidates early on in their career.
- Under the guidance of the Estimating Team Leader, prepare basic designs and estimates for pre cast concrete floor solutions using Architect’s and Engineer’s drawings.
- With support, use design software to produce basic pre cast concrete flooring designs.
- Engage with construction professionals, contractors and customers during the estimating process regarding technical and practical issues relevant to the project.
- Manage the project file and ensure that all current drawings and correspondence are filed and maintained.
- Reflect the company’s current commercial and pricing strategy.

- A construction or engineering related academic qualification – Desirable
- AutoCAD experience – Desirable
- The salary will be very competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
