Step 1: Design - Laying the Foundations For Success
1. Provide finalised AutoCAD drawings from your Architects and Structural Engineers when placing your order.
2. Floorspan will propose manufacturing dates tailored to your project timeline.
3. Our team will create formal designs and proposed layouts for your review.
4. Designs will be sent to you for approval or comment. A Floorspan project leader will communicate deadlines for signed approvals.
Tip: Timely approval is crucial. Missing deadlines may result in losing your manufacturing slot and could delay your project.
Step 2: Payment - Securing Your Order
For non-account customers, we’ll issue a pro forma invoice.
Initial 50% payment is required 5 working days before the agreed manufacturing date.
Reminder: Late payments could lead to the loss of your slot and delay delivery or installation.
Step 3: Manufacture - Your Hollowcore Planks Take Shape
Submit signed drawings to finalise the production details.
Once designs are approved, delivery and installation dates will be confirmed.
Manufacturing of your precast hollowcore planks will commence.
Step 4: Final payment - Ready for Delivery
The remaining 50% payment must be made 5 working days before delivery or installation.
Step 5: Site Visit - Preparing for Installation
A Floorspan surveyor will visit your site to assess access and logistics.
We’ll provide a Risk Assessment and a detailed Sequence of Work to ensure the installation process runs smoothly.
Step 6: Delivery and installation - Completing the process
Delivery and installation will take place on the agreed dates.
