Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of industrial pre-cast concrete flooring components for the Construction industry.
Due to ongoing expansion, we require Production Operatives to join our team in Wisbech.
Responsibilities and Duties:
The role, based at our busy concrete production factory will be to produce good quality concrete beams and planks which are ready to be installed.
- Working as a team to produce good quality concrete beams and planks.
- To lift and carry components used in producing concrete beams and planks.
- To carry out quality checks on all beams produced including measuring the beams and planks lengths.
- To help other teams in the production yard, depending on workload.
- Daily cleaning of the work area to ensure it is ready for the following days casting.
- Previous experience as a construction labourer would be a distinct advantage
- Patient and friendly manner
- Able to work with a number of different nationalities
- Able to understand and follow instruction.
- Able to work as a Team
- Physically fit and able
- A Can do attitude
- A Forklift Truck Licence would be a distinct advantage
