ACCOUNTS Assistant

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.

We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require a Accounts Assistant to join our passionate, dynamic team in Wisbech.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company working within a small team processing and Planning Deliveries.

  • Administering and recording petty cash.
  • Administer rental property utilities and invoice accordingly in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and report on sales figure’s and present monthly haulage figure in collaboration with the transport department.
  • Other duties consistent with the position, to ensure the maximum efficiency, effectiveness, and profitability of the operation.
  • At least 2 years previous experience in an Accounts role.

  • Good customer service skills, face to face and on the phone.
  • Able to work individually and as part of a team.
  •  Must be punctual and reliable.
  • Able to plan and organise your day, taking into consideration deadlines.
  • Engage in daily activities relating to Purchase ledger and Sales ledger.
  • Administer sales invoices and purchase invoices, monitor customer accounts, reconciliation, account queries.
  • Monitor and manage debtors to the business with the aim of recovering all outstanding monies in a timely manner.
  • Support with month end routines including commentary, analysis, accruals, prepayments & reconciliation
  • Provide cover for the Accounts Supervisor during periods of absence/holiday.
  • The salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
  • 30 days holiday per year including Bank Holidays (Pro-rated for Part-Time hours)

Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week

Salary: £25,000.00-£28,000.00 per year

Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work during our busy periods,.
