Lifting and Placement of Hollowcore Planks
When lifting hollowcore planks, always use chains for the bulk of the work. Keep in mind that lifting eyes are only for placement purposes and are not structurally cast into the planks.
In some cases, lifting pins are cast into the planks, such as when chains may snag on external or internal walls or steels. For all other planks, manual barring into place is recommended.
Where to source lifting clutches for Hollowcore planks
Lifting clutches compatible with the pins are required but are not included with the planks. You can purchase lifting clutches from reputable suppliers like Concord Lifting or via Safety Lifting Gear.
Mortar Bed Application
