Lead Precast concrete installer
This role is well suited to an ambitious and motivated individual with previous experience of working in Construction.
Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.
We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require an additional Precast Concrete Installer to join our passionate, dynamic team in Wisbech.
The Lead Precast Concrete Installer role is similar to a senior Groundworker/labourer role with experience of leading a fixing gang. You will be installing our precast concrete flooring on construction sites located throughout East Anglia and the East of England.
You will be provided with a company van it order to travel to and from jobs, therefore, you must have a full clean driving licence.

- To lead a team of pre-cast concrete floor installers.
- To Install our pre-stressed concrete products throughout East Anglia and the East if England
- To interpret technical installation drawings and implement them onsite.
- To represent Floorspan in all interactions with other workers and customers onsite
- To use and operate cutting machinery, as required
- To work as a team with the other installers in order to get the job done
- To achieve excellent quality of work on all installations at all times
- To adhere to all company procedures and Health and Safety requirements when installing precast concrete flooring.
- To adhere to all procedures and Health and Safety Requirements when working on customers construction sites.
- Experience leading a fixing gang.
- Able to read and interpret technical construction drawings
- Knowledge and awareness of Health and Safety onsite
- Knowledge of materials used in buildings and building methods
- Good Team Player
- Able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good communication skills with a good grasp of the English language
- CSCS Card would be a distinct advantage
- Must have a clean full driving licence
- Must be comfortable working outside all year round in all weather conditions.
- The salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
- 30 days holiday per year Including Bank Holidays which increase with length of service
- 50 hours per week – there maybe early starts or late finishes depending on distances travelled
- You will be working in locations where you will be able to travel home every night.
- You will only work the occasional weekends if workloads are high, however, notice will be given if this is required.
