Trainee Developments Estimator

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.
We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require an additional Trainee Developments Estimator to join our passionate, dynamic team. This role can be based at our Wisbech Office.

- Under the guidance of the Developments Team Leader, prepare estimates and designs for pre-Stressed concrete floors and EPS systems based on information provided by the customer and other third-party design professionals.
- With support, use design & pricing software to produce basic pre-cast concrete flooring designs and mark-ups.
- Liaise with construction professionals, contractors and customers during the estimating process regarding technical and practical points relevant to the project.
- Ensure that accurate and up-to-date project administration is adhered to at all times

- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- A willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft applications.
- Well organised.
- A construction or engineering related academic qualification – Desirable.
- Able to operate Microsoft excel at an advanced level – Advantageous.
- Previous experience of working in a Construction / Engineering office – Advantageous.
- Must live within a 25-mile radius of Wisbech and be able to commute to the office.
