Transport Administrator (Maintenance)

Floorspan Contracts is a specialist designer, manufacturer and installer of pre-cast concrete flooring components.

We are a growing, progressive company and due to ongoing expansion, we require a Transport Administrator (Maintenance) to join our passionate, dynamic team in Wisbech.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company working within a small team processing and Planning Deliveries.

  • To ensure the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective running of the haulage department function as efficiently as possible.
  • To ensure that all products and services are charged for where appropriate & other costs are recovered where possible.
  • To work within ‘O’ Licence regulations.
  • To ensure that the health and safety policy is adhered to.
  • To act as cover for Transport Team Leader in times of absence.
  • To act as cover for Transport Administrator (Planner) in times of absence.

  • A construction or engineering related academic qualification – Desirable
  • AutoCAD experience – Desirable
  • Ensuring a practical level of stock for all sundry items in line with delivery requirements.
  • To ensure POD’s are filed to enable retrospective checks.
  • To ensure the scheduled maintenance of all vehicles and lifting equipment to comply with “O” Licence and LOLER regulations.
  • To ensure all invoices are correctly raised to the Floorspan Accounts Department.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all delivery vehicles are in a well maintained & clean appearance in line with Floorspan expectations.
  • To liaise with drivers on all maintenance related issues.
  • To ensure that all issues, faults and breakdowns of delivery vehicles are resolved in a timely fashion causing minimal disruption to deliveries.
  • To ensure full operational use of the “Microlise” tracking / download system.
  • To ensure value for money on maintenance for all AD Hoc repairs.
  • To ensure a supply of authorised spare parts are available for maintenance requirements. (grab rubbers, male /female couplers / hyd hoses etc)
  • To ensure the Floorspan Computer Transport System (MAX) is recording the correct information.
  • To demonstrate the company values in everything you do
  • The salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £25,300.00 per year

Monday – Friday with occasional weekend work during our busy periods,.
